BEDA #1 - Introductions

Name: Ana Lorena. You can either call me Ana, Lorena or Lo.

Age: 17 (almost 18)

Where I live: Lisbon, Portugal

Where I call "home": Europe. I feel really European above all, it's a nice feeling. But I don't think I've decided a specific place.

Why I blog:

• I mostly blog because I want to be a journalist, thus I love writing. I love writing about any sorts of things because I really love talking and debating things with people and getting to meet new friends through that.

What part of BEDA I'm most excited about:

• To meet new friends! Last year I met Nicola and Kim, the latter being an official BEDA buddy and now a very good friend of mine. And they're doing BEDA again too!

Why I'm doing BEDA again:

• I really enjoyed the experience last year. It's kind of a soft NaNoWriMo, and since I failed that in November, I know I won't fail BEDA. Plus, it'll help me to blog more often.

How I first discovered Maureen Johnson and BEDA: 

• I discovered Maureen Johnson through John and Hank Green's videos. I discovered BEDA when MJ tweeted about it.

Something other BEDA people might not know about me:

• Hmmm... difficult. Ask something, yes? 

Another blog I follow:

• I've been in love with this italian fashionista, Chiara, (and her closet and looks and boyfriend) for months.

A writer who inspires me:

• Writer in general? Maureen Johnson and John Green.

A YouTube channel I love:

• Oh my! Let's see... I've loved Molly for years.

A favorite quote:

• "I just have to come face-to-face with the fact that I am not gifted. You know, I can appreciate art and I love music, but... It's sad, really, because I feel like I have a lot to express and I am not gifted."
